- Will the park be open to motorcycles?
- VMP-ATV is a family fun trail park for ATV's. However, we will be setting aside days or half days for motorcycle riding, and we will post these dates on our web site. Our reasoning for keeping the two types of riding on different days is to prevent conflicts with families riding one or the other types of bikes; if we have motorcycle riders on the trail with families enjoying a slow and leisurely ride, the motorcycle riders may intimidate the families and cause some problems. However, we are open to suggestions and will do whatever we can to accommodate all riders. For example, there may be unique situation that we will consider regarding ATV and Motorcycle riding as a family.
- What trails are currently open?
- Three of our courses are currently available: Instructional, Beginner, and Intermediate. The advanced trail will be opened in March.
- Are there any age restrictions?
- As a Family Park we must have some rules to protect us and other families. These are listed on our web site. A liability waiver is required to be signed prior to riding our trails. Parents must sign that minors are of age for safe riding. The Consumer Product Safety Commission states that riders must be 6 and up. As such that is what we are going with.
- Will there be any access to the dragstrip?
- we will be selling combo tickets for the ATV trails which will also include the dragstrip or motorcross or mudbog. The pricing and details for these is being worked now and we will post the info to our website as soon as we finalize it.
- What are your rates?
- For ages 16 and up, our trail tickets are $25 for a full day pass and $15 for a half day. Rates for ages 6-15 are $20/full day and $10/half day. Half-day tickets are from 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm. Military (active + retired) and DoD civilians, or groups of 6 or more will be given a 10% discount. Annual passes are TBD. You may view our Rental rates here
- How can we sign up for safety classes?
- We have a safety class capability through Ride Safe Virginia. Schedules for the safety classes will be posted on the web as soon as we finalize this information.
- Are military discounts available?
- Yes, military and DoD civilians will be given a 10% discount.
- What type of 4-wheelers you rent out, and how much are they?
- We have all Polaris 4-wheelers so far which include a Sportsman 500 2-seater, Hawkeye 350, 2 Trailblazer 330's, Sportsman 90, and a 500 Polaris Ranger. You may view our Rental rates here
- Are dune buggies allowed?
- Yes, however there are portions of the intermediate trail that may have to be skipped to avoid damage to dune buggy and trails
